About The Event

About The Event

IEEE Day is a worldwide celebration of IEEE members and engineers in order to share their technical knowledge. The IEEE Community gathers together and explores the new tech trends in the world. Thousands of IEEE members in the local community join together to collaborate on ideas that,   Leverage Technology For a Better Tomorrow.   In IEEE Day 2021 we are intending to hold the event with three major sessions. The first session is going to be on Digital Well-being by Mrs.Shanelle De Almeida. The second session on Cybersecurity will be delivered by our other guest speaker, Mr.Osanda Malith and the final session will be a Q & A session with both of our guest speakers.

Cooperate Wellness Manager

              Ms.Shanelle De Almeida is currently working as a Cooperative Wellness Manager at Hemas Holdings PLC. She is also a mental health professional. She is the first guest speaker on IEEE Day 2021 to speak on Digital Well-being.

Osanda Jayathissa

IT Security Consultant

                Mr.Osanda Jayathissa is an IT consultant who is also an enthusiastic security researcher interested in Computer Security and Computer Forensics. He will be joining with us at IEEE Day 2021 to talk about Cyber Security.
